There aren’t many experiences comparable to walking into a ballpark—the smells, the sounds and the sight of the fresh cut grass across the outfield are just a couple of things that make it special. Caught Looking is a blog that features nothing but the great American sport.
Who am I? I’m a baseball purist at heart. I believe the designated hitter should be banned, covered stadiums should be outlawed, World Series games should start before 5 p.m. and the Dodgers should have never left Brooklyn. If I could, I would go back in time to watch the great Brooklyn Dodgers teams in Ebbets Field in the 50’s.
Thankfully, I live near the greatest ballpark in the country and able to call PNC Park home for most of my summer. And yes, I’m a diehard Pirates fan and despite their decade plus of futility, I still love them and baseball just as strongly as ever.
